iQOO has confirmed the launch of its new budget 5G smartphone in India. iQOO Z6 Lite 5G Specifications

The iQOO Z6 Lite 5G is expected to be priced under Rs 15,000 in India. It could well be the company’s most affordable 5G phone to date. The Z6 Lite is rumoured to feature a Snapdragon 4-series processor. The latest leak now reveals that the phone will draw power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC. Qualcomm has not officially announced the chipset yet. The details shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav reveal that the octa-core SoC has a peak clock speed of 2.0GHz.

Qualcomm or iQOO might unveil some details officially on or before September 14. Tipster Yadav further revealed that the phone will come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Since it is a budget 5G smartphone offering, the Z6 Lite 5G will offer support for storage expansion via a microSD card slot.

The device will offer 2GB of extended RAM support. It will also run Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12 out of the box.

An Amazon microsite revealed that the phone will offer dual-5G support. The phone will sport a dual-camera setup on the back. It is likely to feature a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor or a macro camera. For selfies, the phone will have a front camera inside the waterdrop notch.
