The deal makes the Z6 Pro 5G a compelling buy, especially when phones in the price range are now offering slightly inferior hardware due to rising costs.
Let’s take a look at the iQOO Z6 Pro 5G price in India, specifications and why it is a good buy for under Rs 20,000.
iQOO Z6 Pro 5G Discount Offer on Amazon India
The iQOO Z6 Pro 5G was launched in India for Rs 23,999. For the price, the device offers 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device can now be bought for Rs 19,999 on Amazon. The price is inclusive of the Rs 3,000 ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank card discount.
For the price, users get 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There is a 12GB RAM variant of the phone, which is listed for Rs 27,999. The device was launched for Rs 28,999. With the card offer in place, the phone can be bought for Rs 24,999 on Amazon.
The iQOO Z6 Pro comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC under the hood. The SoC is an excellent performer and can handle almost all routine tasks while offering support for impressive gameplay. It is perhaps the best that a Qualcomm Snapdragon 700 series SoC currently has to offer in India. In comparison, phones in the price range come with a Snapdragon 695 SoC, which is also a decent performer but lacks support for HDR10+ and 4K video recording.
The Z6 Pro 5G does not take advantage of the 4K video recording support as its 64MP primary rear camera can only shoot 1080p videos at 30fps. However, the 6.44-inch AMOLED display has an HDR10+ certification, which makes it ideal for content consumption. It is also fairly compact and comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Most other phones in this price range have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. One downside regarding the display is that it refreshes at 90Hz instead of 120Hz which some smartphones in the price range offer.
The Z6 Pro 5G also packs a 4700mAh battery and supports 66W fast charging out of the box. While the battery capacity is slightly less than other phones that pack a 5000mAh cell, the charging speed is on par with most offerings.
The phone also has an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera on the back. For selfies, the hole-punch cutout houses a 16MP front camera. The Realme 10 Pro 5G, which was launched in December 2022, does not come with an ultra-wide sensor.

Lastly, while the iQOO Z6 Pro was launched with Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12 out of the box, the company has already rolled out the Android 13 update for the device. Some phones in the price range, such as the Redmi Note 12 5G and the Note 12 Pro 5G, which were launched earlier this year, are still on the Android 12 update. While Funtouch OS 13 has its share of flaws, having the latest software support does make the device a good buy. It would be interesting to see if iQOO provides the Android 14 update for the Z6 Pro once it is released later this year.
