iQoo Z6 Pro Moniker Officially Confirmed, India Launch Tipped to Take Place on April 20

iQoo claims that iQoo Z6 Pro 5G will be the fastest phone in the Rs 25,000 segment.


After launching the iQoo Z6 smartphone last month in India, iQoo is now gearing up to launch the iQoo Z6 Pro 5G handset in the country. In the latest social media contest, the company is asking questions regarding the upcoming iQoo Z6 Pro and is also giving away 2 units of the same. To participate in the contest, the entries can be submitted till the 12th of April, based on which the ongoing rumours suggest that the handset could launch around the 20th of April in India.

In the iQoo Raid Nights Grand Finale Episode on Youtube, the brand has also confirmed that the upcoming iQoo Z6 Pro will be the fastest smartphone under Rs 25,000. In the video, iQoo also revealed that the upcoming Z6 series device has scored more than 5,50,000 points in the latest Antutu benchmark test. Also, similar to other iQoo handsets, the iQoo Z6 Pro will be sold exclusively via Amazon in India.

Earlier this week, a report revealed that the iQoo Z6 Pro will soon launch in the Indian market. The handset is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor. To those unaware, the same processors powers a previous-gen iQoo Z-series handset – the iQoo Z5.

iQoo Z6 Specifications and Features

The iQoo Z6 features a 6.58-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop notch. Powering the device is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor and a 5000mAh battery unit.

The iQoo Z6 offers a triple-rear camera setup including a 50MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. The handset boots Android 12 based FunTouchOS 12 out of the box.

As of now, nothing much is known about the iQoo Z6 Pro in terms of specifications. However, ahead of the launch, we can expect it to pop up on certification websites in the coming days.
