iQOO, last week, teased the launch of the iQOO Z7 series smartphone in the Indian market. The company is yet to reveal the India launch date for the iQOO Z7 series. Ahead of the India launch, the iQOO V2270A, V2272A, and V2236A have now been spotted on China’s 3C certification website. We believe that the iQOO V2270A could be the iQOO Z7. Whereas, the iQOO V2272A could be the iQOO Z7x.
Going by the listing, the iQOO Z7 will feature support for 120W fast charging. Let us take a closer look at the details revealed through the iQOO Z7 and iQOO Z7x 3C certifications.
The iQOO Z7 has the model number V2270A and its charging adapter will have the model number V12060LDA0-CN. The listing reveals that the charging adapter of the iQOO Z7 will support charging output at 5V/2A, 9V/2A, 11V/6A, and 20V/6A. The adapter will also support output via power delivery protocol at 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/3A, 15V/3A, and 20V/3.25A. This means that the iQOO Z7 will feature support for 120W fast charging and the charging adapter will also support up to 65W output via USB Power Delivery.
The iQOO Z7 could be the first Z-series smartphone with over 100W fast charging. The company had used the 66W fast charging on last year’s iQOO Z6 Pro. The upcoming iQOO Z7x has the model number V2272A and its charging adapter has the model number V8073L080-CN. As per the listing, the charging adapter will support outputs at 5V/2a, 9V/2A, and 11V/7.3A. This implies that the iQOO Z7x will feature support for 80W fast charging.
