iQOO’s Z-series has been among the best-selling lineups in the Indian market. It is known for providing good value-for-money performance. Its latest models include the iQOO Z7 5G and iQOO Z7s 5G which went official earlier this year. The team is now preparing to add a Pro model i.e. iQOO Z7 Pro 5G to the series. It will launch towards the end of the month and as we wait for a few weeks more, it has surfaced in a new leak revealing all the specifications.
Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd), a well-known tipster, has shared a post on his X account to reveal iQOO Z7 Pro 5G specifications. This is not the first time the phone has appeared in a specs leak. We reported about leaked specifications last month as well. The newest one corroborates previously reported information as well as shares a few further details.
The first thing to note is that the tipster says the iQOO Z7 Pro 5G will likely be a rebranded Vivo S17e, a smartphone that went official in China in May. Since Vivo and iQOO are sister brands, it will not be surprising if this claim turns out to be true.
As for iQOO Z7 Pro 5G specs, it is said to sport a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The choice of processor is tipped to be MediaTek’s Dimensity 7200 along with Mali G610 GPU. The phone will have LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. A previous leak mentioned it will have up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage space.
The smartphone is said to have a 64MP and 2MP dual rear camera setup. The primary sensor will have optical image stabilization (OIS). There will be a 16MP camera on the front housed inside the punch-hole. iQOO is tipped to have packed the phone with a 4,600mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. It will further have Bluetooth 5.3, WiFi 6, Android 13, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The iQOO Z7 Pro 5G is said to be 7.36mm thick and comes with a glass back design. iQOO has already confirmed the smartphone will launch in India at an event on August 31. It is teasing the Z7 Pro as the smartphone with the highest AnTuTu score (7,28,764) in its price segment. There are rumours that the iQOO Z7 Pro 5G will cost between Rs 25,000 and Rs 30,000.
Apart from the launch in India, iQOO is also working on the iQOO Z8 launch in China. The phone is said to have a Dimensity 8200 processor and 120W fast charging. It is expected to go official in early September.
