iQOO has confirmed the launch date of the iQOO Z7 Pro in India. The company has started releasing invites for the launch event. The iQOO Z7 Pro will be launched in India in the last week of August.

As per previous reports, the iQOO Z7 Pro is supposed to be the fastest device in its segment with an AnTuTu score of over 7,00,000. The device will be featuring a curved display, as per previously shared images by iQOO India’s CEO, Nipun Marya.

iQOO Z7 Pro: Launch Date and Expected Pricing

The iQOO Z7 Pro will be launched in India on 31 August 2023. The company has made an official announcement of the launch event on Twitter. The pricing of the iQOO Z7 Pro is expected to be around Rs 30,000.

The device was also spotted being promoted on Amazon India’s website. This clearly indicates that the iQOO Z7 Pro will be exclusively available on Amazon.

iQOO Z7 Pro: Expected Specifications

The iQOO Z7 Pro is confirmed to feature a curved display. The display panel is expected to be AMOLED, as the images shared by iQOO to date show that the iQOO Z7 Pro does not have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Since the fingerprint scanner will be in-display type, it is safe to say that the iQOO Z7 Pro will get a curved AMOLED screen.

The device will get a hole-punch design for the selfie camera, with very thin bezels on the top and bottom. The curved screen appears to be subtle and does not stretch much towards the edges, to help in grip while holding the phone.

Reportedly, the iQOO Z7 Pro will feature the Mediatek Dimensity 7200 processor. The device is expected to get a top model with 12GB RAM. The company recently launched the iQOO Neo 7 Pro with 8GB RAM in the base model, and the same is expected here as iQOO’s Z-Series focuses on performance.

Other details of the iQOO Z7 Pro have not been confirmed yet. There have been multiple speculations about the iQOO Z7 Pro, with earlier reports indicating that the device would get the Snapdragon 782G processor. However, this variant was supposed to be launched in China, and the global variant is more likely to have the Dimensity 7200 chipset instead.

The iQOO Z7 Pro will support 5G connectivity in India. The device is also expected to retain the headphone jack, to help gamers. iQOO has been focusing on its gaming community and has been hunting for a Chief Gaming Officer. The company is known to implement gaming-specific features, as they did in the iQOO Neo 7 Pro.
