iQOO Z7 Series China Launch Confirmed
The iQOO Z7 series in China will be different from the one launching in India. iQOO has confirmed to launch its new Z-series phones in China on March 20. The Z7 series will comprise two new mid-range smartphones.
The company has also confirmed the design of the upcoming smartphones. Both phones have a curved back panel with a slightly flat frame. The Z7X, which seems to be launching in blue colour, has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Z7, on the other hand, will launch in a shade of orange.
Both phones have a big rectangular camera module on the back. There is a dual-camera setup on the back and both devices will come with support for optical image stabilisation (OIS) for the primary camera.
In addition to the design, the company has also confirmed that the Z7 series will support 120W fast charging out of the box. We can expect only the Z7 5G to support the faster charging tech. A recent 3C listing revealed that the Z7x will feature support for 80W fast charging.
Other specifications of the Z7 series have leaked in the past. The Z7 5G is said to feature the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 782 SoC, which could be an upgrade over the Snapdragon 778G SoC. Based on the nomenclature, it seems that the Snapdragon 782 might be an incremental upgrade over the Snapdragon 778G.
The Z7 5G Chinese variant is also said to feature a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It might pack a 5000mAh battery and feature a 50MP main camera.
