iQOO recently launched the Z7 5G in India. The phone features a MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC and a 90Hz AMOLED display. The company has also launched the Z7 5G in China with a Snapdragon 782G SoC alongside the Z7x with a Snapdragon 695 SoC. The company has not revealed any details about launching the Chinese variants of the Z7 series in any other market. However, a new report claims that one of the two Chinese variants of the Z7 series will launch in India. A new PriceBaba report claims that the iQOO Z7x 5G India launch event could take place soon.

iQOO Z7x 5G India Launch: What You Need to Know

The iQOO Z7x will be a new mid-range smartphone offering. The phone is said to launch in India in the coming weeks with the model number I2216. The PriceBaba report, citing tipster Paras Guglani, revealed that the Z7x 5G India price will be set between Rs 14,000 and Rs 16,000 in India. The phone is said to launch in India in April with three storage options.

The phone is expected to launch in India with a 6000mAh battery. However, there is no word on the fast charging speed of the Indian variant of the Z7x 5G. The Chinese variant supports 80W fast charging but it is unlikely that the Indian variant will offer the same level of charging speed, especially when the Z7 5G India variant supports 44W fast charging.

The Z7x 5G India variant is also said to feature a 6.63-inch IPS LCD with a Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,380 pixels. It will have a 19:9 aspect ratio and support for a 120Hz refresh rate.

On the back, there will be a dual-camera setup. The phone is said to feature a 50MP main camera sensor along with a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the Z7x 5G is said to get an 8MP front camera sensor. In terms of biometrics, there will be a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and support for AI face unlock.

Under the hood, the Z7x 5G India variant will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC. The India variant is said to launch with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The phone will also run on the latest Android 13 update with a layer of Funtouch OS 13 on top.

The iQOO Z7 Pro 5G is also tipped to launch soon. The device could be launched as a rebranded iQOO 7Z 5G from China, which features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G SoC under the hood. The phone was recently spotted on Geekbench with the same SoC. It has the model number I2213. The variant of the Z7 Pro 5G listed on Geekbench has 12GB of RAM.
