Hazelight Studio wins big yet again at the DICE Awards with It Takes Two taking the coveted Game of the Year Award. The game has been one of the most critically-acclaimed titles of the year and has won several GOTY awards at this point, including at last year’s The Game Awards.
The game is a co-op platformer/puzzle game that tells the story of a married couple on the verge of divorce. The game can be played in co-op remotely or through couch, split-screen co-op. The game has managed to not only win over critics, but the audience reception seems to be quite positive as well.
Other winners at DICE Awards 2022 include the likes of Deathloop taking home the Outstanding Achievement in Game Direction.
