itel has been actively launching smartphones in the Indian smartphone market recently including a slew of products like itel S23, Circle 1, etc. The brand will soon launch another budget phone called A60s in the country, an upgraded version of the itel A60. The phone’s listing is now active on Amazon website and it confirms various specifications of the device.
MySmartPrice has now exclusively learnt that the itel A60s could be India’s first smartphone to boast 8GB of RAM in the sub-Rs 7,000 segments. itel A60s Launch Details, RAM and Storage Tipped
The itel A60s will debut in the second week of July during the Amazon Prime Days sale. So, we expect the smartphone to launch between July 15 to July 18 in India.
The itel A60s will be available in two storage variants – 4GB+64GB and 4GB + 128GB. However, users should note that the phone will have 4GB of virtual RAM with its Memory Fusion technology. To clear out your confusion, the itel A60s will have 4GB of physical RAM and 4GB of virtual RAM, which combined will account for 8GB RAM.
itel A60s: Expected Price in India
The itel A60s will feature a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution. The device will pack a 5,00mAh battery and feature 10W charging support. As per the official images, the device will have a physical fingerprint sensor on its camera module.
It will feature a dual rear camera setup along with an LED flash. On the front, the device sports a waterdrop notch to house the front camera. The teaser reveals the phone in two colour options – Purple and Green. However, the device is available in Glacier Green, Sunshine Gold, Moonlit Violet, and Shadow Black in other markets. So, we can expect the brand to bring more colour options to India.
Thanks to its launch in Nigeria, we are aware of the other specifications of the device. The A60s is powered by a Unisoc SC9863A1 chipset that clocks at 1.6GHz.
In terms of optics, the A60s has an 8MP dual rear camera system. For selfies and video calls, it uses a 5MP shooter on the front.
According to the itel promotion teaser, the device will be available for under Rs 7,000. So, we speculate the device would be priced around Rs 6,499 or Rs 6,999 in India.
