
JBL has officially launched two new truly wireless earbuds in India. These are part of the TUNE lineup: JBL TUNE Buds and TUNE Beam. The company started teasing their arrival earlier month and has finally released them. Both these earbuds share the majority of the features and specifications barring a couple of places. Let’s have a look at what these bring to the table and where these earbuds differ from each other.
JBL TUNE Buds and JBL TUNE Beam Pricing and Availability
JBL Tune Buds and TUNE Beam are available at a special launch price of Rs 5,499 and Rs 6,499 respectively. Both earbuds can be purchased in Black, Blue, and White colours via Amazon India and JBL’s official website.
JBL TUNE Buds Features and Specifications
The JBL TUNE Buds TWS has a bud-style design where you do not get a stem. These come with 10mm audio drivers capable of delivering JBL Pure Bass Sound. You get Bluetooth 5.3 with LE support which helps with power efficiency.
These earbuds support Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) with Smart Ambient. This feature keeps you aware of your surroundings even when you are enjoying your favourite music. It has another feature called TalkThru that lets you have a quick chat with someone around you without having to remove your headphones.
JBL is touting its 4-microphone setup for crisp and clear calls. It has a Voice Aware feature that lets you control how much of your voice you want to hear. It basically allows you to control the mic input amount getting routed back to the earbuds. There is an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
You can use the JBL Headphones companion app for customizing various aspects of earbuds. It offers features like customizing touch control gestures, audio profiles, and environmental noise. You can even locate your earbuds with the help of the app. The earbuds offer voice assistant integration as well.
JBL is claiming a battery life of 12 hours for earbuds alone. Its case can provide an additional 36 hours which means you can have a cumulative battery life of up to 48 hours. These numbers come down to 10 hours and 30 hours respectively with noise cancellation turned on. The good thing is these buds support Speed Charge which will give you 4 hours of playback with just 15 minutes of charge.

The JBL TUNE Beam comes with a closed-type stick design where you get to see the stem. These offer 6mm audio drivers for an improved and immersive audio experience. All other features are the same as what we talked about above.
