The makers earlier released a date announcement teaser of the show which shows Jimmy Sheirgil mocking Netflix guys that planets have given a go-ahead for Choona to be released on August 3. But the latest tweet by the streamer shows that a new date will be released very soon. The show is all about six small-time everyday jokers who plan a daring heist in their fervent need for retribution. A strong politician who has wronged them is their target. The official summary stated, “With unusual methods and a disjointed plot, the only thing that may make this heist effective is fate.”
Jimmy Sheirgill, Arshad Warsi, Namit Das, and Monika Panwar play the lead in the show. Aashim Gulati, Vikram Kochhar, Gyanendra Tripathi, Chandan Roy, Atul Srivastava, and Niharika Lyra Dutt are also included in the ensemble cast. The show is directed by Pushpendra Nath Mishra of Tajmahal 1989 and Ghoomketu fame. The show is produced by Flying Saucer.
