Reliance Jio is converting the Jio Fiber subscribers from the Preview plan to a paid plan. The company has already said that it is migrating its users to the paid plan and the same will be done by the end of the year. In order to make its users comfortable while shifting to the new paid plans, the company has now offered a migration plan for seven days. Let’s have a look at what the migration plan has in store for the users and why it exists in the first place.
Jio introduces the Jio Fiber Migration plan for seven days: Here’s what you need to know
Starting things off with the benefits of the Jio Fiber Migration plan, the plan comes with seven days of validity. Users get 50GB of data with the plan (at 100Mbps speed). The plan is only for customers of the company who are currently on the Preview plan. The Migration plan is necessarily an intimation to the Preview plan users that they have to shift to the paid plan, failing which would eventually result in the services getting stopped till the user recharges their Jio Fiber subscription with any of the recently unveiled Jio Fiber prepaid plans. Strangely enough, there have been complaints from a bunch of users that the Migration plan has been activated already even when their Preview plan expiry is at a later date.
The company has recently introduced a total of six recharge plans for its Jio Fiber users:

Post the announcement of the latest recharge plans, Jio also announced a new 10 percent cashback offer on the recharges made via an HDFC credit card or debit card, as part of the initiatives the company has been taking as of late owing to the underwhelming response the Jio Fiber service has received in India. The company further confirmed that the Jio Fiber users (users on at least Gold plan) will get access to four premium OTT apps subscriptions – Hotstar, SonyLIV, Voot, and JioCinema, at no extra cost.
