Jio Phone Diwali offer extends for yet another month
Last month, Jio kickstarted the Jio Phone Diwali 2019 offer that let the interested buyers get their hands on the Jio Phone at a special price of INR 699 during the Diwali season. In addition to a straight-up price cut of INR 801, the Diwali 2019 offer provided data benefits up to INR 693 to the buyers. Summing it all up, the effective price becomes somewhere around INR 1500 which is equal to the actual price of the device itself. It, however, must be noted that in order to avail the extra benefits, one has to get a minimum recharge worth INR 99 done. Furthermore, buyers will also have to buy a Jio SIM card to avail the offer.

Starting things off with the display, the Jio Phone features a 2.4-inch display. Under the hood, the device is powered with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor which is coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage which can further be expanded by up to 128GB of internal storage with the help of an external SD card.
Moving on to the battery of the device, the Jio Phone comes packed with a 2,000mAh battery which, considering the display size and the overall resources the device will utilize, will last more than enough for all the basic tasks.
As far as the OS is concerned, the Jio Phone runs on KaiOS. It comes equipped with Google Assistant and lets the users mirror the content playing on the phone to an HDTV using a proprietary cable. To make things all the way better, Jio Phone supports the majority of the popular apps like Facebook, WhatsApp, and YouTube.
