As per the Jio Next webpage, buyers can get a Rs 2,000 discount on the purchase of the Jio Phone Next if they exchange any old working 4G feature phone or a working smartphone. The offer though is available through Reliance’s offline Retail networks of JioMart Digital and Reliance Digital stores only across India. In case you are interested, you can visit your nearest Reliance Digital or even a Jio store along with your existing 4G feature phone or a smartphone.

Jio Phone Next Specifications

The Jio smartphone comes with a 5.45-inch HD+ display with a 60Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 SoC and offers 2GB of RAM and 32GB of in-built storage with an option to expand storage via a microSD card.

As for the software, the Phone Next runs Pragati OS, which is an optimized version of the Android operating system built specifically for this device. Google and Jio have worked together in the development and there are many localized features.

Further, there is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 5W charging. In terms of optics, you get a 13MP rear camera with an LED flash and an 8MP selfie camera. The phone is 4G enabled and offers dual SIM functionality as well. Other features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
