Reliance Jio launched its new entry-level Android smartphone, the Jio Phone Next, last year. The Android smartphone was announced at the 44th Reliance AGM conference in October 2021. It was originally launched for Rs 6,499 but customers could avail the device as their new smartphone for under Rs 2,000 and later pay the balance amount through instalments. Jio smartphone is now available at an even more affordable price.

Reliance Jio Phone Next Price Cut on Amazon India
Reliance Jio Phone Next is available at a discounted price on Amazon India. The smartphone can be purchased for Rs 4,324 on the e-commerce platform. On top of this, there is a 10 per cent instant discount up to Rs 1,500 for Citibank credit card users.
The Jio Phone Next was originally launched for Rs 6,499 in India. Customers, at the time of the launch, could pay Rs 1,999 upfront and pay the balance amount in instalments through various EMI plans.
Jio Phone Next: Specifications and Features
The Jio Phone Next runs Android 11 out of the box. It has a custom-developed PragatiOS, which has been developed in collaboration with Google. The smartphone comes with support for many local languages along with features that help enhance the user experience.
Jio’s entry-level smartphone also comes with pre-installed apps like JioSaavn, MyJio, JioTV, JioCinema, etc. Of course, there are Google apps pre-installed as well. The phone has a 5.45-inch HD+ display. It comes with 2GB of RAM along with 32GB of internal storage. There is an option to expand the memory via a microSD card up to 512GB.
The Jio smartphone has a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. It features a Snapdragon 215 SoC under the hood.
