Jio has launched a new Jio Plus Rs 399 postpaid plan in India. It offers up to 3 family members add-on at Rs 99 each, totaling Rs 696 for a family of four. The new plan offers the user unlimited calling, unlimited SMS, 75GB of data, and more. Jio already has a Rs 399 postpaid plan but with different benefits. The telco has also launched a more premium Jio Plus Rs 699 plan with added OTT benefits for its users. Let’s look at all details of the newly launched Jio Postpaid Plus plans.

Notably, Jio already had a Rs 399 postpaid plan, but the new one comes as a family plan where the user can add up to three family members for Rs 99 each after the free trial. As mentioned, the plan rounds up to Rs 696 for a family of four monthly, with add-on SIMs getting 5GB of data every month. The primary SIM holder gets 75GB of data. All four connections will be entitled to unlimited calling and SMS benefits. The telecom operator calls it Jio Plus Postpaid plan.
In contrast, the old Jio Plus Rs 399 postpaid plan doesn’t offer any add-on family connections to its users. Users get unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day. Additionally, it offers 75GB of data, and extra data post 75GB for Rs 10 per GB. Moreover, this plan also offers complimentary Netflix Mobile and Amazon Prime subscriptions to users.
New Jio Plus Rs 699 Postpaid Plan: Details
Jio has also launched a more premium plan worth Rs 699 alongside the Rs 399 plan. This plan also offers users up to 3 add-on SIMs at Rs 99 per SIM post-trial period. While the calling and SMS benefits remain the same, users get more monthly data, i.e., 100GB. Jio also provides free Netflix and Amazon Prime subscriptions with this plan.
If you are a new subscriber, Jio will charge Rs 99 for a SIM during activation. The Rs 399 and Rs 699 also have security deposit charges of Rs 500 and Rs 875, respectively. However, the security deposit is waived off if you are a Jio Fiber user, corporate employee, existing non-Jio postpaid user, credit card customer, or have a good credit score.
