Ever since Reliance Jio had to take a tough decision of charging its customers for the calls they make to the non-Jio numbers, the company has been pretty busy coming up with new plans every now and then in order to compensate for the same and to somehow pacify the customers as it received a lot of backlash from its users lately. A little while ago, the telco introduced us with its new all-in-one prepaid plans that provided the users with free non-Jio voice calling minutes. To add to that, the company has now revamped its Rs 149 prepaid plan in order to accommodate it alongside the already introduced all-in-one plans.
Jio Rs 149 prepaid recharge plan now offers 300 non-Jio minutes (and 4 less days)
As said, Reliance Jio has revised the Rs 149 prepaid plan for good. After the revision, the Rs 149 plan offers the usual unlimited Jio-to-Jio voice calls, 100 SMS per day, 1.5GB of data per day, and adds 300 minutes of free calling to non-Jio numbers.
Furthermore, the plan now has a validity of just 24 days which was 28 days before the revision. Just in case you were wondering, the complimentary subscription of Jio apps is still intact and you will still get to enjoy the services like Jio TV and Jio Cinema for free.
If you are unaware, the company had recently introduced a charge of 6 paise/ minute on all mobile voice calls to other operators. This has not been the case with the competitors and many other telecom providers like Airtel are still offering free calling facilities to their customers.
Other than this newly introduced plan, there are four more all-in-one prepaid plans – Rs 222, Rs 333, Rs 444, and Rs 555.
The INR 222 all-in-one prepaid plan offers 1,000 non-Jio minutes, 2GB of daily data, unlimited Jio-to-Jio calls, and 100 SMS a day for 28 days. The INR 333 all-in-one prepaid plan offers 1,000 non-Jio minutes, 112GB of data, unlimited Jio-to-Jio calls, and 100 SMS a day for 56 days. The INR 444 all-in-one prepaid plan offers 1,000 non-Jio minutes, 168GB of data, unlimited Jio-to-Jio calls, and 100 SMS a day for 84 days. The INR 555 all-in-one prepaid plan offers 3,000 non-Jio minutes, 2GB of daily data, unlimited Jio-to-Jio calls, and 100 SMS a day for 84 days.
Furthermore, the company has introduced discounts of Rs 44 and Rs 50 on the Rs 444 and the Rs 555 prepaid plans, respectively. In case you want to know as to how you can avail them, you can head to our existing coverage of the same.
As mentioned earlier, Reliance Jio is doing pretty much everything in its power to retain its customers. On top of all the recharge plans the company has brought about lately, Jio has now added Sun NXT catalogue to the Jio Cinema that will allow the users to watch all the Sun NXT movie content (around 4,000 movies) for absolutely no cost.
Sun NXT offers its content in five regional languages – Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Bengali. Reliance Jio is now the country’s second telecom provider (the first one being Vodafone) that provides the Sun NXT streaming service.
