JioPhone Next made its debut last month in the country. The JioPhone Next is an entry-level smartphone that is targeted towards first-time smartphone buyers. The handset comes with a 5.45-inch display, Snapdragon 215 SoC, 3,500mAh battery, and boots Android 11 Go Edition. The JioPhone Next was available for purchase exclusively via JioMart after registration. In addition to JioMart, the handset is now available at Reliance Digital stores without registration.

The JioPhone Next is available for purchase in the country for Rs. 6,499. The phone can also be purchased with a down-payment of Rs. 1,999, and the rest of the amount can be paid in EMI over the next 18/24 months. These EMI plans also offer bundled benefits such as data and calls.
To make the deal even sweeter, Reliance Digital is offering a 10% additional discount on Yes Bank credit cards. For American Express credit cards, the discount is capped to 7.5%, and for ICICI Bank debit and credit cards it is capped to 5% on JioPhone Next purchases.

The JioPhone comes with a 5.45-inch HD+ LCD display with a 1440 x 720 pixel resolution. The display features an anti-fingerprint coating and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
The JioPhone Next is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 processor coupled with an Adreno 308 GPU. It comes with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB onboard storage. The JioPhone Next comes with micro-SD card slot that allows users to extend the storage further up to 512GB. It boots Android 11 (Go Edition) with Pragati OS.
The JioPhone comes with a 13MP autofocus rear camera and an LED flash. For selfies and video call, the handset offers an 8MP shooter. The handset is equipped with a 3,500mAh battery and a micro-USB charging port. It also offers a 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio. Connectivity options include dual-sim, 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS. The phone comes pre-loaded with Jio and Google apps including Google Play Store, YouTube, JioSaavn, MyJio, JioTV, JioCinema, and more.
