Now, Krafton came up with a brand-new announcement that marks the return of BGMI esports to India. The officials have announced the BGMI Launch Party which is set to kick off on June 1.
The entire Indian gaming community have rejoiced as one of India’s biggest and most-loved games had returned. Now, as BGMI makes its long-awaited return, the officials are preparing to conduct the first official event after the relaunch – the BGMI Launch Party Tournament, named BGMI: Rising. This event honours the game’s comeback and demonstrates Krafton’s commitment to the Indian gaming environment.

Krafton to Host First BGMI Launch Party After the Game’s Unban

Krafton has released a short video announcing the Launch Party, titled BGMI: Rising on the game’s official Instagram handle and Youtube channel. The BGMI Launch Party Tournament will bring together 64 teams of experienced players who will compete on virtual battlegrounds. The competition promises to be an exciting event, with some of India’s best players and teams fighting for glory. BGMI: Rising is more than just a showcase for the game’s comeback; it’s also a chance for players to make a mark and fight for the coveted title of champion.
The tournament will feature 64 teams and takes place for four days of loaded competition with Finals being held on June 4. BGMI: Rising will be broadcasted Live on the official Youtube handle. The short video did not reveal much information about the event except the timeline and Number of teams.
The prize pool of the event is undisclosed and the tournament’s format is also yet to be announced. With only one day left, the information will be available soon and we will update it as soon as they are made public.

The BGMI: Rising event promises intense fights, nail-biting moments, and smart tactics that will keep viewers hooked to their screens. Whether you’re a die-hard BGMI fan or just passing through, the tournament is sure to feature intense gaming that will make an impact.
It will be intriguing to see how the teams will perform in the upcoming event as most of them have been away from the game since its ban in the country. However, some of the players have been playing the game while the servers were online whereas some have shifted to New State Mobile. Third-party event organizers have started to conduct the practice scrims for T1 players but it is hard to conduct or participate in events given the time restrictions set by the game.
The game is playable for 6 hours a day where as players under the age of 18 can play the game for a maximum of 3 hours a day.
