AMD has released its Adrenaline Edition 24.12.1 update for Radeon graphic cards. It brings support for new games and improved HYPR-Tune compatibility. AMD’s Radeon GPUs can now also be used for developing AI programs and writing codes for graphic development. Here are all the details.

AMD Adrenaline Edition 24.12.1: What’s New?

The AMD Adrenaline Edition 24.12.1 update now brings support for five notable games: Marvel Rivals, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Slitterhead, Delta Force, and STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl. These games can now be played on systems with Radeon GPUs with full potential.

The update also improves support for HYPR-Tune in many games. Performance-boosting features like AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) and AMD Radeon Anti-Lag 2 are now available in a wider range of gaming titles. AMD FSR support has been added for Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, MechWarrior 5: Clans, and Red Dead Redemption 2.

AMD is also enabling software developers for GPU programming with the latest driver updates. API development, low-level kernel applications, and other tasks related to AMD ROCm are now officially supported on Windows systems with Radeon graphics without the need for dual boot.

WSL support has finally been added for ONXY Runtime, Tensorflow, and Triton. This will allow developers to fully utilise their AMD Radeon GPU power for AI programming and other works related to large language models. The update also brings expanded Vulkan extensions.

You can update your drivers to the latest version by opening the official AMD Adrenaline Edition app on your system. You can also download it manually from the official AMD website.
