AMD has gone big at Computex 2025, announcing Threadripper 9000 and Threadripper Pro 9000 WX-Series processors and the Radeon RX 9060 XT at Computex 2025. Alongside this, the company has also launched the Radeon AI Pro R9700, a professional-grade high-end GPU designed for running AI programs. AMD Threadripper 9000 Series CPUs Detailed Specifications

AMD’s Threadripper 9000 Series CPUs are based on the latest Zen 5 architecture, based on a 4nm fabrication process. These feature up to 64 cores and 192 threads, with a peak clock speed of up to 5.4GHz. The chips also have support for 8-channel DDR5 memory and PCIe Gen 5.

The new AMD Threadripper CPUs continue to use the sTR5 socket. Here are the detailed specifications:

AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT, AI Pro R9700 Detailed Specifications

The AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT is the latest gaming-grade GPU based on RDNA 4. The card comes after recent launches of the Radeon RX 9070 and the 9070 XT, which we reviewed recently. It comes with 32 compute units, along with hardware accelerators. This GPU supports peak AI performance of up to 821 TOPS. The best part is that it comes with up to 16GB VRAM, ensuring plenty of memory for modern, demanding games.

AMD Radeon AI Pro R9700

The AMD Radeon AI Pro R9700 is an advanced GPU designed to accelerate AI tasks. It is based on the same RDNA 4 architecture. This GPU is capable of 1531 TOPS of AI performance using 128 accelerators. The highlight of this graphics unit is its 32GB GDDR6 video memory, which is enough to run large language models like DeepSeek R1 Distill Qwen 32B, Mistrall Small 3.1 24B, and many others. It has a TDP of 300W.
