ASUS has launched its Zenbook S16 and Vivobook 16 in India. These laptops have advanced AI capabilities powered by the AMD AI 7 350 processor, and have support for CoPilot+ features. They also have a thin-and-light form factor with a premium design in attractive colour options. Here are all the details of the new ASUS laptops in India.
ASUS Zenbook S16 and Vivobook 16: Price and Availability in India
- The ASUS Vivobook 16 is priced at Rs 75,990 and will be available for purchase on the ASUS e-Shop and Reliance Digital stores.
- The ASUS Zenbook S16 is priced at Rs 1,49,990. It will be sold on ASUS e-Shop, Amazon, Flipkart, and ASUS Exclusive Stores.
ASUS Zenbook S16
The ASUS Zenbook S16 has a 16-inch OLED screen with a 3K resolution of 2880×1800 pixels. It has a 120Hz refresh rate and supports peak brightness of 500 nits with HDR support, and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut.
The highlight of this laptop is the AMD Ryzen AI 350 processor featuring 8 cores and 16 threads, with a maximum clock speed of up to 5GHz, and Radeon 860M integrated graphics. It supports 50 TOPS of AI performance powered by the XDNA 2 NPU. This makes the laptop compatible with Microsoft CoPilot+ features, and it can also accelerate AI-related tasks locally on the system.
The chipset is paired with 24GB of 8000MHz LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD storage. The laptop comes with an ASUS ErgoSense Touchpad with smart gestures and a 3D infrared webcam. It is powered by a 78Wh battery which supports 65W charging.
The Zenbook S16 also offers plenty of connectivity options. It has 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, 2x USB 4.0 Gen 3 Type-C, 1x HDMI, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a card reader slot. The laptop also has WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
The ASUS Zenbook S16 weighs just 1.5kg. It has a ceraluminium lid with an all-metal chassis that is certified with MIL-STD-810H military grade durability.
ASUS Vivobook 16
The ASUS Vivobook 16 is an affordable AI-ready laptop with similar performance to the Zenbook S16. It shares the same AMD AI 7 350 processor with 50 TOPS of AI performance, and support for Microsoft CoPilot+ features.
The differences start with the display, where the Vivobook S16 has a 16-inch IPS LCD screen with a Full HD+ resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. The RAM is 16GB 5600MHz DDR5, along with a free SoDIMM slot, allowing users to upgrade the memory in the future. It is paired with a 512GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD.
The Vivobook 16 also has the ASUS Ergosense keyboard. The battery capacity is 42Wh with support for 65W charging. It weighs 1.88kg with a maximum thickness of 1.99cm.
