Lava, a few weeks ago, launched the Lava Blaze Pro 5G in the Indian market. The brand is now gearing up to launch yet another Blaze series handset – the Lava Blaze 2 5G in the country. The upcoming Lava Blaze 2 5G will be company’s third handset under the Blaze 2 series. To those unaware, the brand introduced the Lava Blaze 2 and Lava Blaze 2 Pro earlier this year.

Lava Blaze 2 5G Design Teased
Lava took it to social media channels to share the first teaser for the Lava Blaze 2 5G India launch. The teaser posted by the company doesn’t reveal the Lava Blaze 2 5G India launch date. However, the teaser showcases a glimpse of the back panel of the upcoming Blaze series device. Let us take a closer look at the details.
The teaser posted by the company reveals that the Lava Blaze 2 5G will feature a circular camera module. Apart from it, the teaser doesn’t reveal anything about the upcoming Blaze series handset.
A video showcasing the Lava Blaze 2 5G dummy has surfaced on X (formerly Twitter) which confirms some of the key specifications of the handset. As seen in the leaked video, the Lava Blaze 2 5G will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor. The MediaTek Dimensity 6020 brings with it an integrated Mali G57 GPU and powers several mid-range handsets.
Lava has used the same processor on the recently launched Lava Blaze Pro 5G as well. Apart from that, the leaked video also confirms that the Lava Blaze 2 5G will feature support for 18W fast charging and will make use of a USB Type-C charging port.
The upcoming Blaze series handset might retail in two configurations – 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128 GB. Both these variants will use UFS 2.2 storage. The 4GB RAM variant of the Blaze 5G might offer 4GB of virtual RAM. Whereas, the 6GB RAM variant will feature support for 6GB of extended RAM.
The Lava Blaze 2 5G will feature a dual-rear camera setup inside a huge circular camera module. The primary shooter on the handset will be a 50MP shooter which will be accompanied by an auxiliary sensor and an LED flash. The handset will also offer a 3.5mm audio jack.
