Lava, back in July 2022, launched the Lava Blaze smartphone in the Indian market. Since then, the brand has launched the Lava Blaze NXT, Lava Blaze Pro, and Lava Blaze 5G smartphones under the Blaze series. Now, the brand is gearing up to launch a new smartphone under the Blaze lineup – the Lava Blaze 2 as a new teaser has gone live on Amazon.
The Amazon listing for the Lava Blaze 2 reveals that it will feature a flat-edge design, similar to its predecessor. The listing also reveals that the device will feature 128GB UFS storage. Let us take a closer look at the details.
Lava claims that the Lava Blaze 2 will be the fastest smartphone, on the basis of AnTuTu scores, in the under Rs 10,000 segment. The company has also confirmed that the device will sport 6GB of RAM. It will also support the virtual RAM feature and users will have the option to enable 5GB of virtual RAM.
The Lava Blaze 2 was recently spotted on the Geekbench benchmark database which revealed that it will be powered by a UniSoC processor and 6GB of RAM. As per the Geekbench listing, the upcoming Blaze series smartphone will come pre-loaded with Android 12 which is disappointing. Apart from it, the listing does not reveal anything about the upcoming handset.
In the meanwhile, let us take a quick recap of the specifications of the Lava Blaze NXT smartphone. The Lava Blaze NXT offers an HD+ resolution IPS LCD display that measures 6.5 inches in size. The display makes room for the selfie shooter inside a waterdrop notch.
Powering the Lava Blaze NXT is a MediaTek Helio G37 processor. The Helio G37 brings with it an octa-core CPU and an IMG PowerVR GPU. The smartphone features 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. It boots Android 12 and also offers 3GB of virtual RAM feature.
The Lava Blaze NXT packs a triple-rear camera setup including a 13MP primary shooter which is supported by an LED flash. It offers an 8MP front shooter which takes care of the video calls and selfies. The smartphone comes equipped with a 5000mAh battery unit. It relies on a Type-C port for charging and data transfers.
The Lava Blaze NXT features a glass back panel and retails in Glass Red, Glass Blue, and Glass Green colour options. Talking about the security features, it offers a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and software-based face unlock feature. The smartphone is equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack.
