Lava has launched a new variant of its most affordable 5G smartphone in India. The Lava Blaze 5G gets a new 6GB RAM option in India. The Blaze 5G was launched last year as India’s most affordable 5G smartphone with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The new 6GB RAM variant also offers 128GB of internal storage. Other than the RAM upgrade, the Blaze 5G continues to offer the same set of specifications and features.

The device has a Dimensity 700 SoC. It also features a 90Hz IPS LCD. Let’s take a look at the Lava Blaze 5G price in India, specifications and other details.


Lava Blaze 5G 6GB RAM Price in India

The Lava Blaze 5G gets a new 6GB RAM option in India. The device has 128GB of internal storage as standard for both RAM options. The 6GB RAM variant of the Blaze 5G has been launched for a special first sale price of Rs 11,499. Following the first sale, the device will ve available for Rs 11,999. The Lava 5G smartphone will be available via the Lava E-store and Amazon India from February 16. The 4GB RAM variant is also available for purchase for Rs 10,999.

It continues to be available in Glass Blue and Glass Green. The phone has a flat frame design and comes with premium materials. Lava claims that the phone has a glass back design and sports a triple-camera setup.

The Blaze 5G has a 6.5-inch LCD with an HD+ resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels. The display has support for a 90Hz refresh rate. It comes with a waterdrop notch for the front camera. 

The device also supports virtual RAM up to 3GB. There is a hybrid slot for a microSD card up to 1TB. On the back, the square-shaped camera module has a triple-camera setup. There is a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The phone has an 8MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

There is a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. The smartphone comes with eight 5G bands in India. Under the hood, the Blaze 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery unit. It comes with 15W fast charging support. However, the retail box has a 12W dual-port charger bundled inside. Lava claims that the 5G smartphone can offer up to 50 hours of talktime and 25 days on standby mode on a single charge.

The phone boots Android 12 out of the box. It supports Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, etc. It also has a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

In terms of alternatives, the phone faces competition from the likes of the Redmi 11 Prime 5G, Poco M4 5G, Moto G31 and other smartphones available for under or around Rs 12,000.
