Lava Blaze Pro 5G Officially Teased; Confirmed to Launch During Festive Season

A recent report indicated the relaunch of Indian manufacturers, namely Lava, Micromax, and more. Lava has been creating slight disruptions in the Indian smartphone market by launching various smartphones. Sunil Raina, President of Lava Mobiles, has started teasing the launch of the upcoming Lava Blaze Pro 5G smartphone.

The smartphone will be the successor to the Blaze Pro smartphone launched with MediaTek Helio G37 SoC in September 2022. Lava later launched the vanilla Lava Blaze 5G smartphone in November 2022. The company recently launched the 8GB RAM variant for the Blaze 5G smartphone. The upcoming Lava Blaze 2 Pro has been silently listed on Lava’s India website.

Lava Blaze Pro 5G: Expected Pricing and Specifications


Sunil Raina said in a new post on X (formerly Twitter) that the vanilla Lava Blaze 5G had made 5G accessible to many people with its low pricing. Raina adds that Lava will soon launch a successor to the Blaze 5G smartphone in India. The company will launch the upcoming Lava Blaze Pro 5G smartphone during the festive season.

Raina hints that the brand may launch multiple smartphones in the upcoming festive season. Lava President also adds that the smartphone will be launched at an affordable price, which is accessible to the majority of customers. Suresh Raina doesn’t reveal any specifications or exact launch date of the upcoming device.

Tipster Abhishek Yadav has revealed that the upcoming Lava Blaze Pro 5G will be launched by the end of September 2023. The tipster reveals that Lava will equip the smartphone with MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC. The chipset is built on a 7nm process and sports two Cortex-A76 cores at 2.2GHz, six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz, and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

The tipster adds that Lava will price the smartphone under Rs 15,000. Abhishek also confirmed that Lava would launch the smartphone in a new colour option. The picture shared by the tipster confirms that Lava will equip the smartphone with a dual rear camera setup placed inside a camera module along with an LED flash.

The image confirms that the device will have a 50MP primary sensor. The 50MP primary sensor will likely be paired with a secondary 2MP depth sensor. The image also confirms that the SIM card tray will be placed on the left side of the smartphone. The power button and volume rockers are expected to be placed on the right side.

To recall, the vanilla Lava Blaze 5G smartphone features a 6.5-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels. The company equips the smartphone with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Under the hood, the device features MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, built on a 7nm process. The device features a 50MP primary camera, 2MP depth sensor, and 2MP macro sensor. The smartphone is backed by a large 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support.
