Today, new Lenovo Ideapad Chromebooks have been launched in India. Meanwhile, at an event in China, Lenovo unveiled the new Yoga 13s 2021 Ryzen Edition alongside four other notebooks. Today, in India, the company today has launched three new Chromebooks- IdeaPad Flex 3i with 11.6-inch, IdeaPad 3i with 11.6-inch and 14-inch display. These are the newest devices to be added to the Chromebook lineup of Lenovo. Chromebooks are nothing but small and lightweight laptops, designed for work and they run Google’s Chrome OS instead of Windows.
Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 3i and IdeaPad 3i Specifications
The IdeaPad Flex 3i is a 2-in-1 laptop with a 360° hinge, making it possible for users to rotate the screen and use the device as a tablet. It features an 11.6-inch HD+ touch screen. The Chromebook is powered by an Intel Celeron N4500 processor with Intel UHD graphics, paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage.
The IdeaPad 3i, however, comes in 11.6-inch and 14-inch display sizes and it also offers full HD+ resolution. It is powered by an Intel Celeron N4020 processor with Intel UHD graphics, paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. This Chromebook however, doesn’t come with a touch screen.
Both the Chromebooks run Google’s Chrome OS and offer G-suite and Voice Assistant. The Chromebooks come with Google’s H1 Security Chip for protection against malware and other threats. In terms of connectivity, the Chromebooks come with WiFi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm jack, microSD card, and two USB-A ports. The Ideapad Flex 3i brings only one USB-C port while the Ideapad 3i has got two USB-C ports. Though these Chromebooks are powered by Intel’s chipset, alongside Google’s H1 chip, in future we may see Chromebooks being powered only by Google’s own chipset.

Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 3i and IdeaPad 3i Price
The IdeaPad Flex 3i is priced at Rs 30990 in India and it is available only in Arctic Grey colour. The IdeaPad 3i is priced at Rs 22990 for the variant with an 11-inch display, where the one with a 14-inch display costs Rs 25990. The Ideapad 3i comes in two colours- Onyx Black and Platinum Grey. All these new Chromebooks from Lenovo will go on sale starting October 3 on Flipkart and Lenovo India’s official website. As of now, only the Lenovo Duet Chromebook is being sold on Lenovo India’s website.
