Lenovo is working on the launch of a new gaming smartphone. The company will launch the Lenovo Legion Halo gaming smartphone very soon in China. The Lenovo gaming smartphone will take on the upcoming ASUS ROG Phone 6, which is set to make its global debut on July 5. Lenovo is yet to confirm the official launch date of the upcoming gaming smartphone. While we wait for that, some key details of the device have leaked online.

A new listing on Geekbench has revealed the key specs of the Lenovo Legion Halo. Let’s take a look at the Lenovo Legion Halo’s specifications, features and other leaked details ahead of its launch.

Lenovo Legion Halo Geekbench Listing

Lenovo will launch the Legion Halo gaming smartphone later this year to take on the likes of the ASUS ROG Phone 6 series. The device is likely to debut first in China. Ahead of the launch, the phone has been spotted on Geekbench. It reveals that the phone has the model number L71091.

The listing on Geekbench confirms that the Legion Halo gaming smartphone will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The new flagship mobile SoC from Qualcomm has eight cores, one of which has a peak clock speed of 3.19GHz. The processor is paired with an Adreno 730 GPU.

The listing further reveals that the Legion Halo will launch with 8GB of RAM. We can expect Lenovo to launch the phone in more RAM options. It would not be a surprise if the Legion Halo launches with 12GB and 16GB RAM options.

In addition to the processor and RAM details, the Geekbench listing further confirms that the Legion Halo will run Android 12 out of the box. The Legion Halo scored 1299 and 3953 in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests.

The device is expected to support 68W fast charging out of the box. It is rumoured to pack a 5000 mAh battery as well. Other than this, the Lenovo gaming phone will come with a 144Hz or 165Hz refresh rate display and a cooling system under the hood. More details of the device should be available soon.
