Smartphone companies have shown added interest in tablets this year. The likes of Motorola, Realme, Xiaomi have launched their tablets in several markets. Realme and Motorola recently launched their tablets in India under Rs 20,000 to take on the likes of Samsung and Apple. It looks like another company might launch a new tablet in select markets. Motorola’s parent company Lenovo could launch a new tablet for gamers. The company’s executives have posted photos of a gaming tablet. One of the images shared online confirms that the tablet will be launched under the company’s Legion series. Let’s take a look at the Lenovo Legion Pad specs, features and other details teased online.

Lenovo is working on the Legion Pad gaming tablet. The company’s officials have teased the launch of a Legion tablet which could launch in China. The two images shared on Weibo (via GSMArena) tease the front and rear sides of the gaming tablet. It, however, does not reveal the exact display size. The tablet seems to be on the smaller side in terms of form factor. Citing an IT Home report, GSMArena stated that the tablet will have an 8” screen. While the screen is not as big as many other tablets found in the industry, it is slightly larger than Lenovo’s own Legion 2 Pro gaming smartphone, which has a display size of 6.92-inches.

The images further suggest that the tablet does not have any physical controls. A recent leak revealed that Lenovo is working on a tablet dubbed Legion Play, which has a 7-inch screen, built-in joysticks, a D-pad, and trigger buttons.

The newly-teased Lenovo tablet seems to be a different product and is expected to sport an OLED display with a 120Hz or a 144Hz refresh rate panel. It could also pack the newly launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC under the hood to offer maximum performance. The speculated specs suggest that the tablet will be a high-end offering for those who want to play games and also consume content on a large screen. Currently, there is no word on the official launch date. We will share more updates as and when available.
