Lenovo has launched a new smart home device in India today with Google Assistant. The company has unveiled the second-gen smart clock, the Lenovo Smart Clock 2 in India. For those who are unaware, the product was released globally back in September 2021 and after a few months, finally, the Smart Clock 2 is now available in India for purchase.
The latest smart clock from the house of Lenovo comes with a built-in charging dock for charging devices like smartphones, smartwatches, and even some of the true wireless earbuds with support for wireless charging. Lenovo Smart Clock 2 Price and Availability
The Lenovo Smart Clock 2 is priced at Rs 6,999. However, currently, the product is available for purchase for Rs 7,999 on Flipkart. The smart clock is available in only one colour, Heather Grey.
Features and Specifications
The Lenovo Smart Clock 2 comes with a 4-inch colour touch screen display. It is powered by a MediaTek MT8167S processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The smart clock comes with Google Assistant and can come in handy for playing music, controlling smart home devices, asking questions, reminders, and much more.
It comes with a 3W front-firing speaker and a far-field microphone array. Like all the Google Assistant smart devices, you can talk to the clock by saying “Hey Google” or “Ok Google”. The clock also comes with Bluetooth 4.2 for wireless connectivity.
Further, the clock is made up of soft-touch fabric material with the Lenovo logo and sizeable bezels surrounding the screen. It weighs 298 grams and should be connected to a power outlet. As for the privacy feature, you get a microphone mute toggle switch on the back. There is no camera on board here, but you can still do audio calls via Google Duo. The Lenovo Smart Clock 2 also comes with volume control buttons.
Coming to the wireless charging dock, it connects to the smart clock with the pogo pin. The charging dock can charge devices with 10W max speed along with support for 5W and 7.5W as well. Lenovo says the clock is also Magsafe Compatible.
