Lenovo Tab M9 launched in India as an affordable Android tablet from the brand. The table comes in two variants – one with support for cellular connectivity through LTE and a Wi-Fi-only model. The new tablet starts under Rs 15,000 and will be available from June 1 on Lenovo’s official website and leading online/offline retailers. According to Lenovo, the tablet is intended to offer enhanced productivity and multimedia experience to users. It features a 9-inch display, MediaTek Helio processor, Dolby Atmos audio, and more. The Lenovo Tab M9 will go on sale in India starting June 1. It can be picked from Lenovo.com and leading online channels like Amazon and Flipkart. Interested buyers can also purchase it from offline retailers like Reliance Digital and Croma. The tablet has been launched at a starting price of Rs 12,999 and can be pre-ordered right away. Lenovo is offering the tablet in Frost Blue and Storm Grey colours.

The Lenovo Tab M9 flaunts a lightweight, stylish dual-tone chassis weighing only 344 grams. The tablet has a 9-inch IPS LCD display that supports a 1,340 x 800 pixels screen resolution. The display is Netflix certified panel, which means it can stream Netflix content in high resolution. The viewing experience is enhanced by dual stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos spatial audio.
In the performance department, the Lenovo Tab M9 features the budget gaming processor – MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core SoC. The processor is backed by either 3GB or 4GB RAM with 32GB or 64GB storage, depending on the variant. Lenovo has opted for LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage standards on the Tab M9. The tablet also supports expandable storage of up to 128GB through a dedicated microSD card slot. The LTE variant gets an additional slot for the nano SIM card.
Lenovo has equipped the latest tablet with an 8MP primary camera on the rear panel and a 2MP camera on the front for video calling. The tablet boots Android 12 out of the box and is powered by a beefy 5,100mAh battery. Unfortunately, there’s no support for fast charging as the tablet comes with 10W charging support. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.1. 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C port.
