Lenovo has introduced yet another refreshed Yoga Series laptop. At an event in China, the company launched the all-new Lenovo Yoga 13s 2021 Ryzen Edition. It is one of the first laptops from Lenovo to run Windows 11 out of the box. However, other hardware specifications are also quite impressive and it is one of the latest laptops from Lenovo that is being powered by the latest generation AMD Ryzen processor.
Lenovo Yoga 13s 2021 Ryzen Edition Specifications
Lenovo Yoga 13s 2021 Ryzen Edition is a thin and light laptop featuring a 13.3-inch WQXGA (2,560×1,600 pixels) IPS display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The display carries a 100% sRGB colour gamut, and it has a maximum brightness of 300 nits. The display also comes with DC dimming and Dolby Vision. The laptop comes in a metal build and premium look, weighing just 1.2 kilograms.
The laptop is powered by AMD’s Ryzen 5 56000U processor, paired with 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM. In terms of storage options, there is a 512GB NVMe SSD only. As mentioned earlier, the laptop runs Windows 11 out of the box and also supports Windows Hello facial recognition. The laptop comes with dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atomos. There is a backlit keyboard as well.
In terms of connectivity, the notebook offers Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, two USB Type-C ports, one USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1 port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Lenovo Yoga 13s 2021 Ryzen Edition Price
The laptop has just been launched in China with a price tag of CNY 5,199, which translates to roughly Rs 60,000 and in China, it is going for sale starting October 5. For a limited time, it will be sold at CNY 4,799 or approximately Rs 55,100. Customers in China can already pre-order the laptop from Lenovo China’s website. However, Lenovo has not announced a global launch or whether the laptop will be available in other markets, including India. However, by looking at the everlasting popularity of the Lenovo Yoga series, it’s safe to assume that Lenovo may introduce the notebook in other markets in a while. Last year’s ThinkPad X1 Carbon and ThinkPad X1 Yoga laptops, launched at CES have gained quite some popularity and it doesn’t look like Lenovo would stop bringing new and improved Yoga Series laptops anytime soon.
Along with this, as per reports, four other notebooks were launched at the event by Lenovo including the Xiaoxin Pro 14 2021 Core Edition, which is powered by the 11th Gen Core i5 processor and is Intel Evo certified. The notebook carries a 90Hz 14-inch display. However, the Xiaoxin Pro 14 2021 Core Edition could be a China-exclusive notebook and this notebook will have Ryzen variants as well.
