LG has launched a new smartphone lineup in India today – the W-series. And under it, the brand has launched three new smartphones – the W10, W30, and the W30 Pro. The W-series is a budget smartphone line up from LG and is focused mainly towards the online market.
So far, brands like Xiaomi, Realme, Asus, and Samsung dominated the budget smartphone market, but LG was nowhere to be seen because the brand did not offer any competitive smartphones in the segment. Now with the launch of W-series, it looks like LG is ready to take on other brands. Let us have a look what the W10, W30, and the W30 Pro have to offer.
LG W10 Specifications, Price in India, Availability, and Offers
The LG W10 comes as the most affordable smartphone in the lineup. The device is available in 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant, and it costs INR 8,999. People can have the LG W10 in two color options – Tulip Purple, and Smoky Gray. The LG W10 will go on sale exclusively from Amazon India starting 3rd July, and it will come with INR 4,950 worth cashback offers from Jio.
The LG W10 features a 6.19-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution. The brand is calling it a FullVision screen as bezels around the display are thin. There is, however, a large, traditional notch at the top that houses the front-facing camera. And speaking of which, the smartphone comes with a 13MP + 5MP dual-camera setup at the rear, where the 13MP camera is the primary sensor, and the 5MP camera is a depth-sensor. For selfies, there is an 8MP camera. Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, which has an octa-core CPU, and PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The device packs a 4000mAh battery. At the moment, there is no detailed information regarding the connectivity options of the device.
LG W30 Specifications, Price in India, Availability, and Offers
The LG W30 is slightly more advanced than the LG W10. The smartphone comes in only one configuration — 3GB RAM + 32GB storage. And it costs INR 9,999. The LG W30 can be had in as many as three color variants – Thunder Blue, Platinum Gray, and Aurora Green. The LG W30 will be available exclusively through Amazon India, and it will go on sale starting 3rd July. The smartphone will come with INR 4,950 worth cashback offers from Jio.
The LG W30 has a 6.26-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution. Unlike its more affordable sibling, the LG W30 has a tiny V-shaped notch at the top. The smartphone features a triple-camera setup at the rear, which has a 12MP primary camera, a 13MP wide-angle camera, and a 2MP depth-sensor. Taking care of the selfies is a 16MP front-facing camera. The LG W30 is powered by the same Helio P22 chipset that is in the LG W10. And similar to its sibling, the W30 has a 4000mAh battery, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and face unlock.
LG W30 Pro Specifications, Price in India, Availability, and Offers
The LG W30 Pro is an advanced variant of the LG W30. Unfortunately, LG has neither revealed the pricing of the W30 Pro nor its availability details yet.
The LG W30 Pro comes with a 6.27-inch IPS LCD featuring an HD+ resolution. Just like the W30, this one has a V-shaped notch too, along with thin bezels. The biggest change you’ll see in the W30 Pro compared to its more affordable sibling is that the W30 Pro has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC, instead of a MediaTek chipset. This SoC has eight Kryo 250 CPU cores and an Adreno 506 GPU. The rear camera setup is different as well, compared to the W30. This one has a 13MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP depth-sensor. The front-facing camera remains the same 16MP unit. The LG W30 Pro packs a 4000mAh battery with fast charging feature, and it comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a face unlock option. The stand out feature of the W30 Pro, however, is that the smartphone has a stereo speaker setup, making it the most affordable smartphone to have it.
