LG has today announced the launch of its foldable smartphone known as LG Wing in India. This is the first foldable smartphone from the company that swivels into T-shape. The company has also introduced the LG Velvet smartphone during the launch event. The LG Wing features a swivel screen that can rotate clockwise in 90 degrees, while the LG Velvet comes with new waterdrop camera design. LG Wing, LG Velvet price in India
The LG Wing India price is Rs 69,990 and the phone will go on sale from November 9. The LG Velvet price in India is Rs 36,990 and the device will be available from October 30th. The company has introduced a bundle offer with the LG Velvet. Customers can avail dual-screen accessory along with the phone for Rs 49,990.

The latest dual-screen smartphone from LG takes a whole new twist (like literally!). The phone comes with a rotating mechanism that allows it to rotate clockwise in 90 degrees. Users can easily interact with both the screens while using the phone in Swivel Mode. LG has also partnered with YOuTube and Tubi platforms so that Wing smartphone users can play video on the main screen while the second screen can display comments or search bar. The secondary screen can also work as a media controller with compatible video platforms.
Coming to the specifications, the LG Wing offers a 6.8-inch POLED FullVision primary display and 3.9-inch Full HD+ GOLED secondary display. The primary screen comes with 395ppi pixel density, while the secondary screen offers 419ppi pixel density with a 1.15:1 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor. It features 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 2TB via microSD card.
In terms of optics, it features a triple-camera setup with 64MP primary lens with OIS, f/1.8 aperture, 13MP wide-angle sensor with 117-degree FoV and 12MP ultra-wide Gimbal mode camera with 120-degree FoV. On the front, there is a 32MP pop-up selfie camera.
The LG Wing packs 4,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support and 10W wireless charging. The phone runs on Android 10 and features IP54 rating along with MIL-STD-810G certification. Connectivity features include 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC, USB Type-C. The phone measures 169.5 x 74.5 x 10.9 mm and weighs 260 grams.
LG Velvet specifications
The latest LG Velvet comes with a 3D Arc design with slightly curved edges and offers waterdrop notch. The phone is loaded with a 6.8-inch Full HD+ Cinema FullVision OLED display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by an older Qualcomm Snapdragon 854 processor along with Adreno 630 GPU. The phone equips 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
In terms of optics, the handset comes with a water droplet design, which gives a feel of water droplets are falling. The rear camera comes with a combination of 48MP primary lens, 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and 5MP depth shooter. On the front, the phone will come with 16MP selfie shooter. LG Velvet packs 4,300mAh battery with support for fast charging and 10W wireless charging.
It runs on Android 10 and supports Wacom stylus along with LG Dual Screen accessory. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C port. The phone measures 167.2×74.1×7.9mm in dimensions and weigh 180 grams.
