LG is reportedly working on a radical design smartphone the LG Wing. The smartphone is expected to arrive with dual screens. Now a report from a Korean website Wowtv citing industry insiders claimed that the company is planning to launch the smartphone on October 5th. Earlier reports suggest that LG is gearing up to launch the device on September 25th, but it seems that the company has delayed the launch until next month.

LG is expected to release the first official render or information about the smartphone on September 14th. So far we have come across leaks and rumours that don’t have any concrete information about the smartphone. Recently popular tipster Evan Blass has posted the official renders of the LG Wing that showcased the design of the phone.

“It was scheduled to be released on the 25th of this month, but it was postponed to the beginning of next month, and we are preparing for it,” Wowtv quoted an industry official as saying.

LG Wing Expected Specifications and Price

According to Wowtv report, the LG Wing is expected to feature a 6.8-inch primary display with a square-shaped 4-inch screen placed diagonally on the main panel. Under the hood, the handset is tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 765G processor, clubbed with 8GB of RAM and the storage information is still a mystery.

The report also claimed that the LG Wing will be launched with a price tag of KRW 2million (around INR 1,23,958 or USD 1,600). But the company has still not confirmed anything so we recommend you to take this information with a grain of salt.

On September 7th LG said that it is planning to release a teaser video of the LG Wing soon. After that, the smartphone will go under testing process with some selected users. Once the testing is done, the company will launch the smartphone officially.

Not much about the smartphone is available on the leaks. Considering the leaked render of Evan Blass we can say that the handset will feature a triple camera setup at the back embedded on the top left corner. Let’s see when LG is planning to launch the smartphone.
