The Tamil political drama “Maamannan” by director Mari Selvaraj, which was released in theatres on June 29, received largely favourable reviews from both critics and viewers. The movie’s OTT release date was finally confirmed after almost a month. Netflix said on Tuesday that it would begin streaming the movie on July 27. And now it is streaming the thriller.
The OTT giant also stated that starting on the specified date, the movie will be streamable in the following languages: Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Nayakudu, the Telugu version, just recently hit theatres. After taking a break from acting for a long time, Vadivelu makes a comeback in this multilingual movie.

The plot of the film is about an MLA and his son, who are from an oppressed community and are compelled to stand up to the rich, haughty scion of a late politician, who is determined to make them submit to him.
Vadivelu, Udhayanidhi Stalin, Fahadh Faasil, and Keerthy Suresh play pivotal parts in the movie. This political thriller was directed by Mari Selvaraj. The film was produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Productions. The music of the movie is composed by Academy Award-winning composer AR Rahman. The film was released in Telugu states by Suresh Productions and Asian Multiplexes Pvt Ltd.
