RECOMMENDED:

    • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
    • OS: Windows® 10 64 bit Build 1803
    • Processor: AMD Ryzen™ 5 1600 / Intel® Core™ i7-4790

While the rest of the requirements look pretty reasonable, the 150 GB storage requirement seems to be turning quite a lot of heads as that kind of storage space is usually demanded by the likes of games such as Call of Duty Warzone and the big AAAs such as Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption II.

Guardians of the Galaxy certainly has a lot going for it, especially with regards to the IP that it is based on, and the gameplay looks sufficiently chaotic and fun. Yet, the game is going to have an uphill battle trying to convert non-Marvel fans to trying out the game as purely a fun action-adventure title.

Ray-Tracing Requirements Revealed as well

Guardians of the Galaxy Ray-Tracing

NVIDIA has also released a comprehensive breakdown of requirements for Ray-Tracing on Pc and it looks players will need at least an NVIDIA RTX 2060 GPU, an Intel i5-9400/AMD Ryzen 5 2600, 16GB RAM. That kind of hardware will allow players to turn on Ray Tracing on the Low Detail-RT High Graphics Preset.

The beefiest of beefy PCs sporting an RTX 3070 with Intel Core i5-10600/AMD Ryzen 5 3600X will be able to truly get the best out of the game with High Detail-RT Very High Graphics preset. This, paired with the game’s massive storage requirement easily makes Guardians of the Galaxy one of the most taxing games around in 2021.
