Maaveeran, a recently released movie starring Sivakarthikeyan, is all set for its digital release. The movie, which debuted to positive reviews from both reviewers and spectators on July 14, was released in Tamil and Telugu. Amazon Prime Video has purchased the digital rights to the Maaveeran movie. And now, the streaming service has announced its release date. The movie will be released by the streaming giant on August 11. In Telugu, this movie will be streamed as Mahaveerudu.
Pre-theatrical sales of the movie’s rights brought in a record-breaking Rs 83 Crore and if the reports are to be believed then the movie is a blockbuster, made on a budget of 35 crores and earning 53.3 crores.

Official Trailer and Plot
Contrary to the title Maaveeran (The Great Warrior), our hero lacks courage at first, prioritising the survival of his family over standing up to injustices. The movie discusses issues with public housing and the lack of autonomy for people living in neglected areas.
But his work as a cartoonist ignites his imagination and enables him to incorporate the challenges of his neighbourhood into his creations. The plot thickens as this cowardly artist, now ‘controlled’ by a cartoon action figure, confronts a dishonest politician to help his area. Will he succeed in this game; This is what makes the storyline of the movie.
The prominent cast of the movie includes the versatile Sivakarthikeyan, Aditi Shankar, Mysskin, Saritha, and Yogi Babu. Madonna Ashwin, a brilliant director known for his critically acclaimed previous film “Mandela,” is in charge of directing the picture. The movie’s music was composed by Bharat Sankar, and Vidhu Ayyanna served as the director of photography. The film was produced by Arun Viswa.
