MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G processor as the new mid-range 5G chipset from the company. The Dimensity 700 chipset offers faster connections with up to 2.77 Gbps download speeds along with dual SIM dual Standby option. The latest processor from MediaTek comes loaded with a host of interesting features like 5G UltraSave that makes it energy efficient. The company has also added two chipsets for Chromebooks known as MT8195 and MT8192. The new chipsets are built using 6nm process and more. MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC specifications, features
The Dimensity 700 packs advanced connectivity features including 5G Carrier Aggregation (2CC 5G-CA) and 5G dual SIM dual standby (DSDS). The chipset comes with new 5G UltraSave feature, which helps in saving the power consumption. it includes UltraSave Network Environment Detection, MediaTek 5G UltraSave OTA Content Awareness, Dynamic BWP and Connected Mode DRX.
The chipset supports up to Full HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rates. The processor comes with octa-core CPU. It features two Cortex-A76 cores running at 2.2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0GHz. The chips can support up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 two-lane storage. The chipset brings support for 48MP or 64MP main camera sensors with AI-bokeh, AI-color and AI-beauty features. It also supports hardware-based imaging accelerators enable multi-frame noise reduction so users can capture high-quality shots with low noise, even at night. The latest chipset supports voice assistants from global brands such as Alibaba, Amazon, Baidu, Google and Tencent.
MediaTek MT8195 and MT8192 specifications
The company has also unveiled new chipsets for Chromebooks known as MediaTek MT8195 and MT8192. The MediaTek MT8192 is made using 7nm process, while the MT8195 is made using 6nm process.
The chipsets come with high-performance AI processing unit to power a wide range of voice and more applications. It also comes with a dedicated audio digital signal processor that enables low-power voice wake-up. The MediaTek MT8195 comes with octa-core CPU with four Cortex-A78 cores and four power-efficient Cortex-A55 cores. The chipset integrates MediaTek APU 3.0 and has ARM-Mali G57-MP4 GPU. The device supports quad-channel 2133MHz LPDDR4X, Dolby Vision, surround sound, and more.
The MediaTek MT8192 also features octa-core CPU with four ARM Cortex-A76 cores and four ARM-A55 power-efficient cores. The chipset includes MediaTek APU 2.0 along with Mali-G57-MP5 GPU, 2133MHz LPDDR4x memory and UFS 2.1 storage. It supports WQHD displays with 60Hz refresh rate or Full HD+ displays with 120Hz refresh rate.
