Chinese smartphone manufacturer Meizu is tipped to launch a new smartphone, dubbed the Meizu 17 soon. So far, there is not too much known when it comes to the specifications and features of the Meizu 17, but it appears as if the device has started popping up on the internet now, as we have been able to spot two new Meizu model numbers on the Chinese 3C certification website, which are being speculated to belong to the Meizu 17 series. Meizu 17: 3C Certification Reveals 30W Fast Charging
As seen in the 3C certification image, two Meizu model numbers Meizu M081Q and Meizu M081M are in the works. If the ongoing rumors on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo are to be believed, the aforementioned Meizu devices are from the Meizu 17 series. The Meizu 17, hence, will feature up to 30W fast charging (5VDC, 3A). It will be a 5G-enabled device. Other than the two things that we mentioned above, the 3C certification for the device fails to provide us with any more intel.

That being said, the previous rumors suggest that the Meizu 17 could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G mobile platform, which will allegedly be assisted by an LPDDR5 RAM and a UFS 3.0 storage. As far as the display of the device is concerned, the Meizu 17 is tipped to flaunt a 6.5-inch AMOLED panel, which will have a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The display of the device is also said to feature a 90Hz refresh rate.
Coming to the battery of the device, the Meizu 17 is tipped to sport a 4,500mAh battery, which will have scope for up to 30W fast charging, as mentioned above. In the processor department, the Meizu 17 should ideally ship with the latest Android 10 OS out of the box. Furthermore, we have received another alleged live image of the Meizu 17’s charger. As far as the pricing goes, the Meizu 17 is said to be priced somewhere around Yuan 3,999 and is likely to compete with the Xiaomi Mi 10 smartphone in the Chinese market. Though not officially revealed yet, the word has it that the Meizu 17 will launch on April 15, 2020, as there are some Weibo users who have leaked a bunch of promotional posters of the same. This, however, is not confirmed as of now, so we would request our readers to take this report with a slight grain of salt till the time the company makes things official.
