Mi 10 5G, Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro TENAA Images Goes Live Ahead of Launch

The TENAA certification reveals the design of both the Redmi K40, and the K40 Pro.

Redmi is all set to announce the Redmi K30 series successor, the Redmi K40 and the Redmi K40 Pro smartphones on February 25th. The company’s General Manager Lu Weibing yesterday confirmed the launch date on Weibo, who also insisted that the phones will come with a new design language and new experience. These devices already have appeared in the 3C certification database a few days ago revealing the charging capabilities. Now, we have spotted both the Redmi K40 and the K40 Pro smartphones on the TENAA certification website. The certification listing reveals the design of the devices in full glory ahead of its official launch. Furthermore, the listing reveals some key details of the Redmi K40 Pro. Moving on, we have also spotted the upcoming Mi 10 5G model on TENAA.

Redmi K40 Get TENAA Certification

The TENAA listing reveals the design of both the handsets along with their respective model numbers. However, there is no mention of the specs on the website. The base model i.e the Redmi K40 carries the model number M2012K11AC, while the Redmi K40 Pro bears model number as M2012K11C.

The Redmi K40 comes with a triple-camera setup at the back panel along with LED flash. The back panel also features Redmi branding at the base. Furthermore, the right side of the device offers volume controls and power on/off button.

Redmi K40 Pro (M2012K11C) Confirmed to Feature 108MP and 256GB Storage, TENAA Listing Suggests

The Redmi K40 Pro also features a similar design language and it might be available in White colour options. Furthermore, the TENAA listing also reveals some key specifications of the Redmi K40 Pro smartphone. As per the listing, the handset will come loaded with a 256GB of internal storage. Interestingly, the Redmi K40 Pro will also come equipped with a whopping 108MP camera on the rear.

Mi 10 5G TENAA Certified

As mentioned above, the Mi 10 5G also has gained the required TENAA certification. The Mi 10 5G carries model number as M2102J2SC. This new model is supposed to pack in Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 SoC, which was announced last month. Other specs such as display size, camera resolution of this upcoming handset do remain a mystery for now. However, leaked pricing by tipster suggests us that the Mi 10 5G could retail for around CNY3,500 in China.

Redmi K40 series specifications (expected)

If the rumoured specs of these smartphones are considered, they are supposed to feature a 6.81-inch AMOLED display with 1440p+ resolution. Redmi already had confirmed earlier that both the phones will use E4 luminous material as that of Mi 11. These handsets are even expected to offer higher 120Hz refresh rate, and could also have an HDR10+ support

As far as the hardware specs go, the Redmi K40 Pro is already confirmed to pack Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 processor. On the other hand, the base model might come equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. The RAM and storage configurations of both these smartphones do remain unknown as of now, but some rumours suggest that the Pro model might come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage. In terms of imaging, the Redmi K40 is said to feature four rear-facing cameras, which might consist of 108MP primary main camera, while the other three cameras could be of 8MP, 5MP, and 2MP. On the other hand, the TENAA listing does confirm that the Redmi K40 Pro will feature a 108MP primary main camera. Other three sensor on the device is supposed to be of 13MP + 5MP and 2MP respectively.

The base model i.e the K40 is considered to pack a 4500mAh battery, while the Pro model might come equipped with a bigger 5000mAh battery. Both these devices also might support 33W fast charging, as revealed by 3C certification a few days ago. As the days pass, we might even get to see detailed specs of these handsets, if TENAA listing updates in the upcoming few days.
