
Xiaomi launched its flagship Mi 10 earlier this year in India. The smartphone received Android 10 based MIUI 12 update a couple of months back. Xiaomi has been testing Android 11 based MIUI 12 for the devices including Mi 10 for the past couple of months. It seems like Xiaomi is finally done with the testing, as it has released Android 11 Stable update for Mi 10 in India. The company took it to Twitter to share the announcement. Xiaomi is also rolling out Android 11 update for Mi 10 Pro, and POCO F2 Pro, but both these devices are not available in India.

Mi 10 Android 11-based MIUI 12 Update Changelogs,
Mi 10 Android 11 Stable update comes as MIUI 12.2.2.0.RJBINXM in India and MIUI 12.2.1.0.RJBEUXM in Europe. The update also brings an updated October Android security patch along.

Users can head over to the Updater section on their devices to check for the update. We would advise users to backup their important data before updating the devices. Companies usually follow partial roll-out to minimize the impact of critical bugs. So, the update may not be available on your unit. In case you haven’t received the update yet, you can download it from here (only Indian users should go with this link) and flash it manually on your device.
With this update, Mi 10 becomes the second Xiaomi device in the country to receive Android 11 Stable update in the country. To those unaware, a couple of weeks back, Redmi Note 9 Pro received Android 11 Stable update. Mi 10 is not the only device to receive Android 11-based MIUI 12 update. Xiaomi, in several regions, has started rolling out Android 11-based MIUI 12 update for Mi 10 Pro and POCO F2 Pro. To those unaware, both these devices are not available in India.
