Xiaomi teased the Mi 11 Lite India launch last week via social media channels. To recall, the Mi 11 Lite made its global debut back in March along with Mi 11 Ultra, and Mi 11. Now, Xiaomi has officially announced Mi 11 Lite India launch date. Xiaomi took it to social media channels to announce that the Mi 11 Lite will make its debut in India on June 22nd. The company hasn’t specifically mentioned whether it’s launching Mi 11 Lite 5G variant, or 4G variant, or both, but it is expected to launch only the 4G variant in the Indian market. The Mi 11 Lite 4G is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G mobile processor. The biggest highlights of the smartphone are its design, color variants, and lightweight form factor. The handset comes in Bubblegum Blue, Peach Pink, and Boba Black color variants.

Xiaomi also shared that it sold Mi 11X series devices worth Rs. 300+ crore since the launch. To recall, the Mi 11X, and Mi 11X Pro launched back in April in the country, and Xiaomi managed to achieve the above-mentioned sales figure in just 45 days. Mi 11 Lite: Specifications, Features, and Expected Price
The Mi 11 Lite 4G features a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 2400×1080 pixel resolution, and 402PPI pixel density. It is an HDR10 certified panel that can go as high as 800nits in terms of brightness. It also has a 90Hz refresh rate, 240Hz sampling rate, and is protected under Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Under-the-hood, the handset packs an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G mobile processor built on an 8nm fabrication process. This is the same processor that powers several other popular devices such as Redmi Note 10 Pro, and POCO X3. The graphics duties on the smartphones are handled by an integrated Adreno 618 GPU. The handset packs up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM, and up to 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. It boots Android 11 based MIUI 12 OS.
Moving to optics, the smartphone offers a 64MP triple-rear camera set up inside a squircle camera island. The design of the camera housing is very similar to that of the Mi 11. The primary 64MP shooter on the handset gets accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5MP telemacro sensor. On the front, the device carries a 16MP shooter for selfies, and video calls.
The Mi 11 Lite has a 4,250mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It also has a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a stereo speaker setup. Connectivity options include Dual Sim, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g, Bluetooth 5.1, and GPS. It measures 160.53×75.73×6.81mm, and weighs 157grams.
The Mi 11 Lite 4G retails in three configurations in global markets – 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB. It is not clear if Xiaomi will launch all three variants of the smartphone in the country.
