Xiaomi will launch a new 5G smartphone soon in India. The 11 Lite NE 5G will debut later this month in India. Xiaomi has confirmed that the device will launch on September 29 and will be available for purchase via Amazon India. As expected, it will also go on sale via the company’s Mi Home Stores and other first-party channels. The device has already launched in other markets as the 11 Lite 5G NE. The USP of the device is its thin and lightweight form factor. It also comes with 5G network support. Ahead of the official launch, some key details around the device’s 5G band have leaked online.

Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G to feature 12 5G bands in India

Xiaomi is gearing up for the September 29 launch event, where it will unveil the 11 Lite 5G NE. Ahead of the launch, MySmartPrice has learnt some key details about the device. Our sources stated that the Mi 11 Lite 5G India variant will come with 12 5G bands. It is said to be the only smartphone in its price range to offer the number of 5G bands in India. These include n1, n3, n5, n7, n8, n20, n28, n38, n41, n66, n77 and n78.

It will also be the thinnest smartphone in its price range to offer 12 5G bands. The 11 Lite 5G is 6.8mm thick. The smartphone that comes closest in terms of thickness and the number of bands is the Motorola Edge 20, which has a 7mm thickness and comes with 11 5G bands.

The device is launched in Europe for EUR 369 (approx. Rs 32,000). We can expect the price in India to be lesser than Rs 30,000. 

In terms of specs, the device will sport a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate support. It comes with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ certification. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC. The phone features a 64MP triple-camera setup. For more details, click here.
