
Xiaomi launched the Mi 11 Ultra, along with Mi 11X series back in April in India. The Mi 11 Ultra is Xiaomi’s most ambitious and costliest flagship phone to date. Almost 2 months post its launch, the handset went on sale for the first time earlier this week in India. Within a couple of days of the very first sale, Xiaomi has now started seeding MIUI 12.5 update for the Mi 11 Ultra in the country. To recall, the company had unveiled the latest version of its proprietary Android skin – MIUI 12.5 back in February. MIUI 12.5 is faster, and lighter compared to the previous version of MIUI, claims the company. The latest version of MIUI is also claimed to occupy 35 percent less background memory and consume 25 percent less power.
Mi 11 Ultra MIUI 12.5 Update Rolling out in India!
Several users took it to Twitter to share the development. MIUI 12.5 update for the Mi 11 Ultra comes as MIUI 12.5.2.0.RKAINXM, and weighs around 765MBs in size. The latest MIUI version brings several improvements and changes to the eligible Xiaomi devices. One of the biggest highlights of the MIUI 12.5 is that it brings an option to uninstall select system apps. MIUI 12.5 also brings upgraded computing performance as it has 20-times the rendering engine than before. Xiaomi has also worked on system animations to make the experience more seamless. The company is yet to confirm MIUI 12.5 roll-out for the Mi 11 Ultra officially. To those unaware, Xiaomi rolls out software updates for its smartphones in a phased manner, so you may or may not have received the update on your Mi 11 Ultra. Nevertheless, you need to head over to the settings app on your smartphone to check for the update.
