Xiaomi launched the Mi 11 Ultra, along with Mi 11X series back in April in India. The Mi 11 Ultra is the company’s most ambitious and costliest handset to date. The smartphone went on sale for the first time earlier this week in the country. Within a couple of days of the very first sale, the company has now started rolling out MIUI 12.5 update for the handset in India. To recall, MIUI 12.5 was announced back in February and the company claims it to be faster, and lighter compared to the previous version of MIUI. MIUI 12.5 is also said to consume 35 percent less background memory and 25 percent less power.
Mi 11 Ultra MIUI 12.5 Update Rolling out in India!
As reported by several users on Twitter, the Mi 11 Ultra MIUI 12.5 comes as MIUI 22.214.171.124.RKAINXM, and weighs just 765MBs in size. MIUI 12.5 brings several changes and improvements to the devices, including the option to uninstall select system apps. It also brings an upgrade in terms of computing power as it has 20-times the rendering engine than before. The company has also worked on UI animations to deliver a more seamless experience. Xiaomi is yet to confirm MIUI 12.5 roll-out for the smartphone officially. The company usually rolls out software updates in a staged roll-out manner, so you may or may not have received the update on your unit. However, you can head over to the settings app on your handset to check for the update.
