Xiaomi launched the Mi 11 Ultra in India on April 23. At the time of the launch, Xiaomi said that the Mi 11 Ultra will go on sale “soon”. However, the company’s most expensive smartphone is yet to see a sale date. Mi Fans and tech enthusiasts have been asking the company about the sale date, and Xiaomi has announced an update. The company said that the sale did not go live due to unforeseen circumstances. Xiaomi is still working on the sale date of its flagship smartphone in India. Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra sale date

Xiaomi has finally announced an update on the Mi 11 Ultra sale date. The company stated that the sale is postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.

Xiaomi, at the launch, did not reveal the launch date of the Mi 11 Ultra. The company only revealed that its flagship smartphone will go on sale very soon. However, six weeks after the launch, the device is yet to hit the shelves. Xiaomi has now announced that there is a delay in the shipment of its flagship smartphone in India. The company said it is working on ensuring that customers get their hands on the Mi flagship smartphone. 

The Ultra smartphone packs top-of-the-line hardware, including some of the industry firsts. It has a 1/1.12-inch 50MP Samsung GN2 sensor and a Snapdragon 888 SoC. The device also has a 1.1-inch secondary display on the back, which is equivalent to the Mi Band 5.

Specifications and features

Xiaomi’s flagship smartphone features a 6.81-inch quad-curved E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate support. The WQHD+ screen comes with 1700 nits of max brightness, HDR10+, Dolby Vision support, etc,

It has a triple-camera setup on the back. The device packs a 50MP ISOCELL GN2 primary sensor with a 1/1.12-inch size. The 8P lens comes with OIS and Dual Pixel Pro tech. It also comes with a 48MP Sony IMX586 f/2.2 ultrawide sensor with a 128-degree field of view. Lastly, there is a 48MP SonyIMX586 periscope telephoto camera with up to 120x Zoom. For selfies, the phone has a 20MP front camera sensor. 

The phone has a 1.1-inch secondary display on the back. It can be used to check notifications, battery status and other details. The secondary screen can also be used as a viewfinder to click high-quality wide and ultrawide selfies from the rear camera. 

Under the hood, the device packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone packs a 5000 mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging support.  It also supports 67W wireless fast charging mode. It runs Android 11-based MIUI 12 out of the box and is confirmed to get the MIUI 12.5 update soon.
