Mi Band 6 Offer: Existing Mi Band 5 Owners Can Get New Wearable For Rs 2,999, Here’s How to Avail

Xiaomi launched the new Mi Band 6 in India on August 26. The new smart band is a budget fitness tracker offering from Xiaomi and comes with a large AMOLED display. It has a 1.56-inch AMOLED screen, which is bigger than the 1.1-inch display found on the Mi Band 5. Not just the display but even the price of the Mi Band 6 has increased compared to the outgoing model. The device was launched in India for Rs 3,499. It is slightly higher than the previous models, which were launched around Rs 2,500 in India. To make the deal sweeter for existing Mi Band users, Xiaomi is offering a discount.

Xiaomi India Chief Business Officer Raghu Reddy, at the Smarter Living 2022 event, announced that exiting active Mi Band users can claim a Rs 500 discount on the Mi Band 6. Users who are using the original Mi Band or even last year’s Mi Band 5 can avail the offer. To claim, users can check the Mi Fit app on August 30 for more details.

One needs to note that they must be using the older variants of the Mi Band to claim the Rs 500 discount offer. As mentioned earlier, the device was launched in India for Rs 3,499. After the Rs 500 discount, it can be bought for Rs 2,999. The device comes with a Black pill-shaped screen with multiple strap options, including Blue, Light Green, Orange, Maroon.

Mi Band 6 specs

The Mi smart band 6 features a large 1.56-inch AMOLED touchscreen display. The pill-shaped screen has a 326 PPI and comes with support for over 80 band displays. It supports up to 30 sports modes, including Zumba, HIIT, Core Training, Boxing, Basketball, Ice Skating. It can also auto-detect six activities like outdoor running, treadmill, rowing machine, elliptical, walking and cycling.

Other features include a 5ATM rating for water resistance, 24×7 blood pressure monitoring, heart-rate monitoring and sleep tracking. The smart band also comes with support for Blood Oxygen Saturation, aka the SpO2 monitoring feature. It is said to offer up to 14 days of battery on a single charge.
