Xiaomi is extending its power bank lineup in India with the launch of the new Mi Boost Pro 30000mAh power bank. The company had initially introduced this power bank in India through a crowdfunding campaign back in March. In a crowdfunding campaign, the company was offering this power bank for a discounted price of Rs. 1,999. It was aiming to reach a goal of 5000 units in 15 days as part of the crowdfunding campaign. Now, after the successful crowdfunding campaign results, the company is introducing the Mi Boost Pro 30,000 power bank to all the customers. The newly unveiled power bank has an anti-skid finish, a 30,000mAh lithium polymer cell with 16 layers of advanced circuit protection, and four ports in total. Mi Boost Pro 30000mAh Power Bank Specifications, Features
The Mi Boost Pro 30,000mAh power bank features an anti-skid finish as mentioned above. As the name suggests, this power bank comes with a 30,000mAh battery capacity. It has 16 layers of advanced circuit protection to prevent damage from overheating and short circuits. The power bank has four ports in total that includes – two USB Type-A, a Type-C port, and a micro-USB port. The Type-C port on the power bank also acts as an input port as well as an output port and it supports PD 3.0 (power delivery). The company claims that the PD 3.0 allows charging with a peak power of 24W that allows the power bank to charge from 0 to 100% in 7 hours.
The Mi Boost Pro supports dual-input which does mean that it can be charged using the Micro-USB and Type-C charging port. The power bank supports up to 24W input via the Type-C port, while with micro-USB port as input the charging is capped to 18W. Moving to the output details, the power bank is equipped with two USB Type-A and a one Type-C port. With the USB Type-A and a one Type-C port, the power bank can charge 3 devices simultaneously. The power bank supports up to 22.5W output via Type-C and a Type-A port. Similar to the company’s earlier power bank, the Mi Boost Pro also has low power output mode to charge other devices like smartwatches and smart bands. To activate this mode, you simply need to double-tap the power button. In terms of dimension, the Mi Boost Pro 30,000mAh power bank measures at around 154.5× 72.3×38.99mm, and weighs about 640 grams.
