Xiaomi has unveiled the new Mi Notebook Ultra and the Mi Notebook Pro at the Smarter Living 2022 event. The company announced a bunch of new products, including a new Mi TV 5X, Mi Band 6 and a few AIoT products. The Mi Notebook Ultra is Xiaomi’s premium laptop offering for the Indian market. It comes with an Intel 11th-generation processor in two variants. The laptop has a large 15.6-inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. It has a 3.2k QHD+ resolution with 2500 x 1600 pixels. Xiaomi Mi Notebook Ultra, Notebook Pro launched in India

Xiaomi has launched the Mi Notebook Ultra and Notebook Pro in India. The new premium Xiaomi laptops feature an Intel 11th-generation processor. They come with Core i5 and Core i7 models. The base Core i5 model clocks at 3.1GHz with a max clock speed of 4.4GHz. The Core i7 model, on the other hand, has a clock speed of 3.3GHz and a boosted clock speed of 4.8GHz. Both variants come with an Intel Iris Xe GPU. 

The laptops come with 8GB/ 16GB RAM and 512GB NVMe SSD. They also have a dual-heat pipe and a fan for better thermal management. 

The Ultra model comes with a 15.6-inch display with a QHD+ resolution of 2500 x 1600 pixels. It supports a 90Hz refresh rate and has a 300 nits brightness. The screen supports DC Dimming and comes with 100 per cent sRGB. The Pro model, on the other hand, has a 14″ display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate and a 2K resolution. Both laptops come with a built-in 720p webcam, which is located at the top bezel.

They have a backlit scissor mechanism keyboard with a 1.5mm key travel. The Mi laptops feature a large trackpad and come with a fingerprint scanner. They boot Windows 10 Home out of the box and come with MS Office apps pre-installed. The laptops are claimed to offer up to 12 hours of battery life. Xiaomi has packed a 70WHr battery on the Ultra model with 65W charging support. It can be charged via a USB Type-C port from zero to 50 per cent in 45 minutes. The smaller 14″ model has a 56WHr battery.

The laptops come with support for Wi-Fi 6 and Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C ports. There is also an additional USB Type-C port, a USB 2.0 port, a USB 3.2 Gen1 port alongside the HDMI port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. They also come with two 2W speakers with support for DTS audio processing.

The 14-inch Mi Notebook Pro is priced at Rs 56,999 for the Core i5 + 8GB RAM variant. The i5 16GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 59,999, whereas the Core i7 16GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 72,999.

The Mi Notebook Ultra is priced at Rs 59,999 for the base Core i5 variant with 8GB RAM. The i5 16GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 63,999, whereas the Core i7 16GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 76,999. Customers with an HDFC Bank credit card can purchase the Mi laptops and get Rs 3,500 cashback on the i5 variants or Rs 4,500 on the i7 models.
